Description
Years ago my mother had given me an unidentified plant which had never done well. I brought it home as I always do and within weeks clusters of artificial-looking confetti-shaped groupins started forming. When they opened, they produced some gorgeous minute white buds. It wasn't until I took this photograph that I discovered the velour feeling petals.
Hoya plants are known as wax plants, grow as vines and have waxy leaves and clusters of star-shaped pink or white flowers. Hoyas are from India and East Asia.
