Description
As I was walking through the Sonoma, California wine country on a very cool day, I came across these gorgeous colors. My walk was quite early in the morning and the fog was still damp on the leaves giving the very ripe grapes a certain purplish metallic color. The reddish leaves were already a compliment to the dark green foliage behind it, but with the addition of this purple-blue it knocked me over. I love layers and glazes when painting and had used a mottled masking technique on top of the first few layers of rust. This piece has won two local awards this past year.

Rosanne, thank you also. This piece has been kind of forgotten about and has gotten new life because of artists like you. I appreciate that so much!

Elvis, I never know where to begin with you. I can't tell you how much you do for me; your encouragement, support, self-esteem, you name it. I only hope I can reciprocate half of what you do for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Pretty much, anything Debbie puts her watercolor brushes to, turns into a grandiose masterpiece! I love all of her works, but when I thought I have seen her best, she surprises me and others with something new and exciting! Thanks so very much, Debbie, for sharing this beauty, as I love it! Fave and vote
